ACSC Receives a Gift from 'Friends of Avon'

"The families of Avon appreciate you."

This message, which is laser etched into the face of a one-of-a-kind artwork, summarizes the sentiments of hundreds of families in the Avon community.

Several Avon residents banded together to conduct a campaign to raise money from hundreds of likeminded individuals: the silent, supportive majority of our community. Their goal was to present Avon Schools with a gift that would remind us of their support and deep appreciation.

Dr. Wyndham, Dr. Sullivan, and Board Member Anne Engelhardt were present to accept the gift. Work is underway to find a prominent location to display this gift where it will remind ACSC's 1,500 employees that they serve a supportive community.
